Our In-Water Survey (IWS) department takes care of all naval vessels such as Container ships, Bulks carriers, Tanker ships, passenger ships, Naval ships or special purpose ship.
Being quickly mobilizable, our In-Water Survey team carries out all the following works by also taking into consideration the operating constraints:

• Underwater inspection with CCTV under class supervision (also called CCTV IWS or UWILD).
• Rudder & Propeller clearance measurement.
• Sea Chest cleaning by hydroblasting tools.
• Propeller polishing with grade A finition to improve propulsion efficiency.
• Installation of plug for valves replacement
• Customized cofferdam(s) installation for a speed log replacement by the crew on board in total safety.
• Propeller release in case of entanglement.

These types of interventions are often carried out under the presence of a class surveyor such as Bureau Veritas, la DNV-GL, Llyod’s Register, ClassNK or other IACS members, for which we possess the necessary approvals. We guarantee a quality of service certified for each operation. The same applies to our team of divers which are all qualified CLASS 2 A and specially trained for theses interventions.

Also, in order to provide a high-quality of work in complete safety, we have a range of top-of-the-range equipment at our disposal. Divers safety and client satisfaction are then guaranteed.

All these works are realized with CCTV (Close Circuit Television) and its surface operator. Thus, class agents and clients can attend the operation and make recommendations or ask for a deeper inspection of a specific area in real time.

Each In-Water Survey department intervention include the following:

• A handwritten report issued right after the intervention to the class surveyor and the master of the vessel.
• A detailled report with comments and photographs of all inspected items of the ship.
• The video of the intervention.
